Water glass made of green glass from Bitz Living Denmark
This glass comes from the Kusintha series, with which the Danish brand Bitz took the initiative to reduce the food and water shortage in Malawi. This in collaboration with the Danish red cross. Part of the sale of the Bitz Kusintha series is being donated to this initiative. Kusintha means forandring, or change. Nice to know that you also contribute to Kusintha with your order, right? ♥
The water glasses are made from recycled glass, which means that they are not 'picture perfect', like glasses that are made by thousands of large companies at the same time. There may be an air bubble in it, for example. This is precisely the charm of the Bitz glassware, which, just like the tableware, is not perfect, but where you see the handiwork of the person who makes it for you. Also look at the matching water bottle and the green earthenware plates. Did you know that you eat 15% less of colored dishes?
Back to the water glass: the water glass content is 30 cl. Do you also support the Kusinta project? On www.kusintha.dk you can read more (in English) and also follow how much has been collected in donations.
